Photo Story:

The picture is mainly inspired by one of Asa’s song-Satan Be Gone. This is my rendition of the song. For me the song is about letting go of your hold on so many vices and burdens. Telling Satan to be gone is telling yourself you’re fed up and ready for a new life , for a better future. In my photo , she’s dancing as a way for letting go (some would say exorcism ) the anklet on her feet are like shackles that have been broken out of. The angels are calling her to a better place.

How long has Oluwanifemi Cyril-Olutayo loved photography:

I would say all my life , but to be exact I grew more love and appreciation for it when I was in JSS3 almost 6 years ago

How they discovered their passion for photography:

I had joined the media team in my secondary school and I feel in love with cameras and how they function, and not only that I loved the joy I saw in people’s faces whenever they see the picture I had just taken of them. That smile is which I love most about photography, because now I get to capture people in beautiful moments and they get to see themselves as someone they had only imagined.
