The inspiration came from the client’s outfit, which already carried a subtle traditional and non-modern feel. I wanted to match that energy by placing her in a school environment close to my area that naturally has cultural-looking elements and simple architectural features. I avoided any unnecessary props or distractions so the setting could enhance the traditional vibe and make the overall image feel more grounded, cultural, and authentic.

How long has HANNAH OBOH OSOSE loved photography:

I have loved photography since I was in junior secondary school, I enjoyed taking pictures with my phone and was always excited about capturing beautiful moments. That early interest stayed with me and gradually grew into something I wanted to pursue more seriously.

How they discovered their passion for photography:

I discovered my passion for photography when I got into the university and joined the media team. Being part of the team gave me the opportunity to experience photography beyond just taking pictures with my phone. It exposed me to the creative and technical side of the craft, and that was when I realized photography was something I truly wanted to pursue. I went on to learn it professionally, and it has since become a meaningful part of my life.
