About Jentle Joe 's work:
Photo Theme:
Unbreakable Bond of Motherhood
Photo Story:

This image beautifully captures a timeless moment between a mother and her baby—a scene brimming with love, joy, and connection. The mother lifts her child gently, her eyes glowing with pride and affection. It’s not just a gesture of play; it’s a symbol of how mothers lift their children in every sense—emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

The baby, dressed in vibrant traditional attire, represents innocence and promise. Her curious gaze shows trust, while her colorful hair beads reflect cultural identity, care, and warmth. The mother’s red outfit brings a sense of energy and passion into the image, reinforcing the power of a mother’s love.

Their smiles create a narrative: this is not just a photo—it’s a celebration of life, resilience, and unconditional love. It reminds us that motherhood is not just about giving birth, but about nurturing, uplifting, and creating joy in every moment shared.

How long has Jentle Joe loved photography:
Over 20 years
How they discovered their passion for photography:

It wasn’t a single moment, but a series of quiet realizations—like light slowly filling a room.

I remember holding a camera for the first time not to take a perfect shot, but to freeze a feeling. A smile. A fleeting expression. The way the light kissed someone’s face when they weren’t looking. That’s when it clicked—literally and metaphorically.

My passion grew from a deep desire to tell stories without words. Whether it was a mother holding her baby, an elder laughing at a family gathering, or a child lost in wonder, I found magic in the ordinary. Photography became my language—the way I connect, reflect, and preserve emotion.

As I kept shooting, I realized: every photograph is a time capsule. It carries not just a face, but a heartbeat. Not just a scene, but a soul. That’s when I knew—I wasn’t just taking photos. I was honoring moments that might otherwise slip away.
