The darker hues evoke feelings of growth and resilience, the daily hustle and struggle of Nigerians. The lighter hues symbolize hope and perseverance. The hope to navigate through life's challenges in the pursuit of one's dreams. The blurry effect indicates motion of the moving vehicles which symbolize movement and progress. Generally, the image suggests that despite life's constant motion and obstacles, one can remain determined and focused on their goals.

Photo Story:

I was on my way back from a long day at uni, and was feeling upset over classes running over hours. On the road, the sounds of cars honking and engines reving, and the smokes from bikes and cars heightened my anger.
I was on the verge of blowing up when I noticed the Keke driver in front of me. He was calm and focused despite the noise from all angles. And it really inspired me, on how the only thing on his mind was his hustle and not the outside distractions, and when we got past the traffic, I was inspired and took out my phone to take the photo of the victorious driver.

How they discovered their passion for photography:

I discovered my passion for photography late last year December. Photography was listed as a skill acquisition program under my GST list of trade. Out of curiosity I chose photography, only ever having a casual feel for it.
However getting into the deeper framework of photography I found myself developing a passion for taking and editing photos of things, places and people around me.
